Donate to YKT (Kol Tzofayich) School

Kol Tzofayich is part of the Israeli Religious Public School system. As such, the students pay minimal tuition, and faculty salaries for Judaic studies and the core curriculum are funded by the Ministry of Education.
However, Experiential/Vocational training and many other operating expenses are not covered by the government.
Since our school is a “magnet” school, children come from many different communities and, therefore, their transportation is not covered by the local municipalities.
Donations are earmarked for providing an innovative, hands-on learning environment alongside enriching religio-spiritual programming.

Kol Tzofayich Annual End-of-Year Fundraising Campaign: Renovated Auditorium for Middle School
Each year we choose something specific that offers an opportunity for everyone and anyone to make a contribution to help Kol Tzofayioch. This year we have been especially blessed with a generous matching campaign, which will help renovate our much-needed auditorium in the middle school building.
Located in picturesque northern Israel, based in Kfar HaNoar HaDati, our school continues to expand in enrollment, diversity and course offerings. Now serving 215 students in grades 7 through 12, as Kol Tzofayich has continued to grow and expand together with our sister program for students from the former Soviet Union and Ukraine, last year we began using an additional building on campus to house the growing middle school.
By giving the middle school its own ‘home,’ we are able to more effectively individualize instruction, create our own cadre of teachers to specifically cater to this age group, and, in turn, offer a more robust student program as they continue into high school.
While other institutions often feel a need to build anew, we at Kol Tzofayich find it is more financially effective to renovate and utilize existing structures and make them relevant to the 21st century. As part of that program, the next critical renovation is our middle school auditorium, which is the only location in the school that has the seating capacity to house all of our middle students.

ADOPT A STUDENT

The James R. Cope Adopt Program matches deserving students with donors who are interested in helping students attend Florida College.

The matching donation opportunity for this year’s campaign will help us update and create an extraordinary space that will allow for a number of essential experiences, which we are presently lacking. With a state-of-the art audio-visual system, integrated desks, and enough seating for the middle school, we will be able to create programs previously unimaginable. One of the most important aspects of our program is the ability to offer engaging Tefilla (prayer) programs for both Kol Tzofayich and the new immigrant students. This newly renovated venue, which will include an aron kodesh, will allow us to provide a tefilla atmosphere in which students from all backgrounds benefit from an inclusive experience. This room will also allow us to bring in guest speakers and performances, engage students in multimedia experiences, and to gather our entire middle school for special occasions and our entire middle school for special occasions and assemblies. The facility will also provide adequate indoor meeting space for programs and events like Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, an integrated program for both native Israelis and new Olim from Russian and Ukrainian descent. The school has a stellar staff in place, with a wide array of vocational teachers and hands-on programs integrated into the school day, as well as an expanded gemara program that took off this year. And a new, enhanced Ulpan kicked off for middle school Olim. This year, Kol Tzofayich will graduate its first senior class. The students are working hard to finish their bagrut and continuing their ongoing vocational training — with workshops in cabinetry, welding, art, animal training and other experiential offerings. After graduation, they’ll go on to mechinot, yeshivot, or volunteer programs before army service or university. With this renovation and its subsequent seating donations, Kol Tzofayich will continue to be able to pursue its multi-focal goals. By offering all students in the Youth Village a truly innovative, interdisciplinary program that seeks to revolutionize education both in the academic/vocational fields as well as in the socio-religious spheres, together we can create a society which is balanced, inclusive, deeply spiritual, and instills students with the passion and skills to change the world for the better.During this fundraising campaign, for every $500 seat purchased, the donor will match it. Seats can be dedicated in honor of a person or event with a dedication plaque.
